Enjoying our THANKSGIVING Weekend!

WOW..I cannot believe how fast Thanksgiving came and went this year. Just yesterday it seemed to far away, and then it was here. Craziness I tell you! WE had a fabulous and fun holiday weekend with the girls! WE didn't really do anything terribly out of the ordinary with the girls for the weekend, but we did manage to get some Christmas shopping done and lots of baking for Thanksgiving.

So, here goes...there are TONS of pictures from this weekend and the previous weekend...

Olivia and Sydney playing around on Saturday....don't they just look so cute in their jean overalls!? These are some of the many treasures that we have received from our friends Laurie and Dan who have triplets. They were kind enough to give us a ton of baby clothes, and we finally are starting to fit in some of the clothes that they gave given us! Nana and Papa Rick stopped by while Daddy was out with the boys watching the Mizzou game..Nana commented that she missed the days of being able to take pictures with BOTH girls in it...so we got creative and 'convinced' them to sit together on the back of the couch...but not until AFTER they did some climbing on the couch AND poor Sugar...not that she seemed to mind much...what a great dog.

Yeah...we have TONS of toys..but Sugar's toys are WAY more exciting!

So, the photo shoot didn't last too long and eventually Nana and Papa went home, after which we continue to play around and chase each other around (our new favorite game to play)....the girls ALSO LOVE LOVE LOVE books, it's so cute. THey'll bring you a book, turn around, and then back up into your lap. I love it.

Olivia....playing around...and apparently eating her book! :)

Sydney...reading her book too!

We love playing with the front door and looking out.

The girls played chase in the hall for quite some time.......
here is Sydney..quite upset that she can't get into the bathroom and play in the tub or maybe it was b/c Daddy went in there and wouldn't let her come in too! :)

Olivia...she discovered the drawer of hats and decided to wear her bee hat..it was so cute watching her run around with it and take it off and put it back on continuously!

HEre you go Olivia...I'll help you walk around and make sure you don't run into anything...so cute! I love this picture, too bad they were walking towards me, so I didn't get all of Sydney in it. :(

Just Playing around....

Olivia LOVES LOVES LOVES her monkey...and even more than that she LOVES her clothes with monkies on it...this is one of 2 sleepers she has with monkies on it and she adores it...here she is modeling it.

HEre we are on Thanksgiving Day......

Olivia on Thanksgiving Day at Nana's. All of the Grandparents, except for the AZ contingency were there, along with Cousin Megan, Dan, and Susan. It was an awesome time, well, except for the incident which will NOT be name by Nana..thankfully she's okay.
like any good AMerican, after Thanksgiving dinner, Olivia is reading the ADs..time for some Christmas Shopping!

Sydney...playing with her shopping cart...she loves it (and all the items that she's 'bought'.

So, last year the girls gave Uncle Mike a Jingle Bell Duck..too bad he left it at our house, b/c now it's our FAVORITE toy..here is Sydney 'cuddling' with it! She loves to carry it around.

The previous weekend, was a busy one...on Sunday we took the girls to the zoo and they went to Grandma Pat's for the first time.....

Sydney, playing with her Elmo Kitchen at Grandma Pat's house.....

Sydney...loving Grandma's Blueberry dessert!

Olivia rockin' the blueberry dessert look....

Olivia....lovin' the Elmo kitchen too...

Hanging at the Zoo, in our Monkey jackets from Nana and Papa...

Mommy and Sydney..

Daddy and Olivia....

At the monkey house...we LOVED LOVED LOVED the monkey house..so fun!

IT was a beautiful day at the zoo...apparently this lion was doing some problem solving...he wanted to lay in the sun and the only other good sunny spot in his enclosure was occupied by another lion...so here he rests...in the tree. So doesn't look comfortable to me, but he seemed to like it!

THe previous day, we went and visited Keith, Amy, and Caroline...so fun. It's nice to occasionally take the girls to some where different to play...they love Caroline's toys (and she ours)...b/c they are different!
