'Cause THAT'S my JOB.....

So, as the weekend of Uncle Todd continued, it's important to note that Uncle Todd was insistant that he get the girls a present, because Uncles are Suppose to spoil their Nieces.....despite my arguements about him not needing to buy something, I gave in because "that's my job"......so, after some serious searching, I recommended that he get the girls the Tinkerbell movie that they were missing. These days Tinkerbell is the IT toy....we love Tinkerbell! Life would be even better if we could find a Vidia doll, however she appears to be the ONLY doll from the Tinkerbell movies that isn't sold seperately. Boo. Oh well, maybe we'll get some Tinkerbell dolls for our Birthday in July! In the meantime, I have at least 6 people on the look out for a Vidia doll! Thanks for the cold weather/rain bribery Uncle Todd...Mommy appreciates it! :)

Why I want to be a Twin....

You see this....THIS is why I want to be a twin....

A built in play mate, a co-conspirator, a partner in crime, someone to antagonize, snuggle with, cry with, tell my secrets to, tattle on......
or at least why I wanted a sister, but alas all I got was 4 brothers. :(  Oh well, at least I'll get some sister-in-laws out of them! :) Too bad they all live far away. :(

Being a twin IS pretty cool....I must admit I'm a little jealous! :)

Uncle TODD!!!

Came for a visit for President's Day Weekend, and the girls were SO very excited to see him! Sadly, Uncle Todd was in town to see his Dad who was in the hospital and in need of Open Heart Surgery. Boo. Uncle Todd, is actually my step-brother, but after 25+ years, who cares much about that. but we DID have to explain to the girls each day, where Uncle Todd was going and why he didn't get home until later in the evenings. Since I am posting this way after the fact, it's great to point out for Uncle Todd and Uncle Kent that their Dad is doing MUCH better since he had his surgery.

BLOW a BUBBLE...yeah, Uncle Todd, as uncles are prone to do, started a bad trend of the girls DEMANDING that people blow bubbles with their gum so that they can pop them!

The girls had a great visit with Uncle Todd, he is always welcome to visit and stay with us! One of the main things I love about our house is our suite in the basement where our family can stay when they come visit, it's nice for them to have their own place and it's even nicer that they can stay with us and spend more time with us!

A Spring Teaser...in Feb!

We had a little warm up on the books for Presidents weekend, and we all sure did enjoy it it! It was so nice to get the girls outside and play a bit. Reminded me how much I adore warmer weather! It was so nice to get the girls outside a little bit to run off some energy and get some fresh air in the house! It's actually looking like our whole weekend is going to be AMAZING, and it's only Thursday! Yay! Even Sugar was excited, because she knows that warmer weather means WALKS!

WHile the girls shared their tricycle very well together this afternoon, we're DEFINATELY going to have to get another one, hopefully we can find another one for a decent price at the twins club sale this spring!

Sydney pushing Olivia around on the tricycle...I quickly told her not too so that she wouldn't ruin her jeans, but she was having fun at first...she later told me her knees hurt from pushing Livia. Stinker.

Our Thursday afternoon fun, came to an end for dinner time, which was okay with the girls as they were eagerly anticipating Uncle Todd's arrival for the weekend!

Valentine's Weekend.....

Valentine's Weekend was a blast in our house! :.


Sydney....

The girls playing around....Daddy was out with the boys and we decided that while he was gone we'd dress up in our skirts for when he came home! Even more exciting were our Princess shirts that we were able to wear!

We sure do get a lot of wear and tear out of our Toy Story toys...they play with them ALL the time!

I love how we keep getting them new toys and they are still drawn to the 'oldies but goodies'...They still adore their pig and cookie jar toys and the Toy Story toys...cracks me up. Great investments they were/are! :)



Sunday was a BEAUTIFUL day....a teaser really, since Spring is so far away. The girls AND Sugar were quite happy that we opened the front door so that they could lay in the sun! :)

While the girls were playing around, Matt and I decided to get some house work down and caught up on some of our shows that we seem to be lagging on these day. So, we folded laundry and watched some Modern Family, and played around with the girls....

Hats sure are a winner for dressing up in our house!

Ah...those $1 fairy wings sure have been a hit...maybe I'll buy them some nicer ones for their birthday this summer!

I finally had to bust out some of their larger size shirts that I had bought this fall....they LOVE their Owl shirt, they spent quite a bit of time this morning walking around going who whooooooooooooooooo. Adorable.

HOwever, after naptime, we had to dress up and wear dresses since it was a 'nice day'...so we could Celebrate Valentine's Day at Grammy Pat's house....here we are being SPOILED by Grammy....

Sydney and her puppy...but she and I think it's a bear..Grammy insists that it's a puppy. Yeah, not so sure on that one!

Aunt Zomi is a sucker.....we somehow convinced her to allow us to play bubbles in Grammy's house....it sure was fun though! :)
