Breakfast with Santa....

Breakfast with Santa, was amazing. We went to my friend Laurie's Church, where they had scheduled a visit with Santa a long time ago...and man was it fun. Matt and I had a great time with Laurie and Dan and their 5 kids, as well as Sydney and Olivia, just loving up seeing everyone, INCLUDING Santa! There was no fear, which I was worried about...apparently we passed that age....however, Brendan (Laurie's youngest, at 18 months).....wasn't so happy with Santa.  All in all, a hit, and we will DEFINATELY go back next year!

Miss Sydney eating her lollipop that she picked from the magical Christmas tree in Santa's workshop...even cooler is that Mommy and Daddy let her eat CANDY (or the devil as I call it!) :)

Olivia...joyously eating a doughnut...now Breakfast with Santa is even cooler than she thought it would be, because she get's a doughnut....or Happy Birthday as she calls anything with icing!

THe Daddy's girl....Olivia....
Thankfully we have twins, so that we can have a Mommy's girl AND a Daddy's girl! :) Here's my Mommy's girl AND the best snuggler ever!
Olivia...waiting in line to see Santa....this line stuff stinks!
Sydney, waiting in line to see Santa....

WE both fearlessly walked up to Santa and climbed up on his lap...Sydney informed him she wanted a Barbie...Olivia just wanted a doll! So cute!

The B family!
Olivia and Mommy..hanging and talking with Aunt Laurie and Andrea.
MIss Olivia, on Santa's lap...she was more interested in the candy cane than Santa....oh well.
Miss Sydney with Santa, and her super cool new kitty cat that she loves more than anything that came from the Elves' Toy Shop here at Breakfast with Santa...

After Breakfast with Santa, the girls and Matt and I were wiped...so instead of going to St. CHarles to see the cool Christmas decorations, we went home and took a nap...after lunch of course! :)

Remember..."He sees you when you're sleeping...he knows when you're awake, he know's if you've been bad or good, so, you better watch out"...

Hope You're on the good list this year...or the naughty list if that works for you! ;)

November

November came and went in our house. In fact, in the days after Thanksgiving, when I downloaded pictures from Thanksgiving, I was shocked to notice that shockingly enough I had only taken 300 pictures in November...that's almost sacraligious. BAD BAD Mommy.  We did have a great November...well, I think so, I don't remember it too much. Some where in there Caroline came to visit, we went to Grandma Pat's for Sunday Dinner and then we had Thanksgiving. Craziness how fast it went! :(

 Here are some pictures...and commentary...of course! :)

On Saturday, November 6, the girl's BFF (also known as Baby Caroline...called this b/c we still have her baby announcement on our fridge and the girls always carry it around and talk to us about Baby Caroline) and her mom and dad came over to 'play'...well, the boys wanted to watch the Mizzou game, die hard fans that they are, and since it was an away game, Keith and Amy were NOT in Columbia for the game. The girls had been making ALL of us crazy by asking about each other, which is so so cute. So, everyone came over for pizza and dessert...the girls had so much fun! The girls were appropriately decked out in their Mizzou wear. We ALMOST had a major meltdown b/c our old cheerleader dresses didn't fit anymore, but then thankfully I remembered that Matt's Dad had given us a larger one for their girls' birthday...thankfully the crisis was averted...of COURSE they didn't want to wear their cute tiger shirts, then wanted their dresses! :)

Here is Miss Sydney eating puppy chow...she's a BIG fan...chocolate and peanut butter...great combo and she approves!
MIss Olivia...hanging on the floor in the kitchen...she was probably playing a game on the fridge prior to this picture....knowing her!
  Dancing around in the kitchen...

Caroline...was super in love with all our Yo Gabba stuffed animals that Santa brought the girls last year for Christmas...had I known how hard they were going to be to find later on I would have asked for more! Oh well!

On Sunday, November 7th, we went over to Grandma's for Sunday dinner with Aunt Zomi and Uncle Mike....here are the girls playing around in the backyard. They are obsessed with wearing dresses and skirts! Here they are wearing a coordinating outfit that Grandma Carol gave them last year that FINALLY fits them! :)
Grandma has a play house AND an Elmo's kitchen in her basement, along with a cool table and fun toys....always a hit for the girls!

 Miss O...playing around....

 Miss S...always on the move!

One random night in before bedtime....Sydney is listening to her Daddy read her a story, while Olivia....

...WAS listening to a story on Mommy's bed and cuddling, until she decided the basket full of Daddy's clothes would be WAY more fun!

ANOTHER random night....playing around in Mommy's closet...
....while Sydney is dressing up  in Daddy's clothes...all of coures BEFORE bedtime. Crazy, hyper messes.

The weekend before THanksgiving here in STL was BEAUTIFUL...absolutely...so un-fall-like, it was amazing. ANd since they were predicting nastiness for THanksgiving, Matt and I decided to do some winterizing....my job included doing leaves and his was hanging the Christmas lights....all of which would have taken WAY longer had my super awesome neighbors NOT decided to come out and 'help' by playing with my girls. Have I mentioned before how much we love our neighbors and where we live? Great place, fabulous people. If they move, I'm moving!

Here are some pics of Angie and Andy (both of whom the girls are obsessed with...not to mention their parents Mr. Bob and Ms. Rhonda)...the girls ask about them constantly! It's adorable! FOr reference...Olivia is in the Black Cat sweatshirt and Sydney is in the Pink Cat sweatshirt....

Needless to say it was an amazing nap time for the girls....thanks Angie and Andy for entertaining the girls...they sure do love you guys!

The Wednesday evening before THanksgiving, Matt's Dad...Grandpa (as they call him), came up to spend some time with us because we weren't going to see him on Thanksgiving. boo. We all had a great time, and the girls were super excited to entertain Grandpa...
 MIss Olivia.....
 SMile for the camera.....cheese.....
 Sydney...
Smile for the camera...say cheese...we've been working with the girls on smiling for the camera....sometimes we are successful, other times, not so much. :(

THanksgiving was so fun! WE had a full house, but it was great! Here is a picture of the cake that my Sister in law (Aunt Zomi) made...she's super into being creative and she loves to eat sweets, SO, behold awesomely cute desserts...yummy too! :)

Sadly, I didn't take too many pictures for THanksgiving...but here are 2 cute ones....

Sydney running around....
Olivia....upset b/c she was told NO...at least now she'll tell me why she's upset! :) It does make life a LITTLE easier! :)

Hope all is well,

Halloween!

Halloween, oh nemisis of my past, how I despised you as for most of my childhood it rained for every Halloween. However, I do have to say that for the past couple years, Halloween has been quite beautiful!  This year, in keeping with our past traditions, we went over to our neighbor's house for dinner and festivities and this year, we actually joined everyone for trick or treating. And MAN did the girls have fun. We debated taking the wagon, but in the end both girls ended up walking the entire trick or treating route...well, actually Olivia ran the entire way, but either way they had so much fun! They crashed as soon as we got them home and bathed!  Costumes, were of course a big debate....unlike last year, Daddy didn't dress up to match the girls. Our original plan, was for the girls to be Tinkerbell and Snow White as we had these costumes from Matt's boss at work....but then I saw the Jesse the cowgirl costumes at the store and just knew that the girls HAD to be Jesse and man were they happy with their costumes, and super cute too!

Here are some super cute pictures.....

Playing around as we are getting ready to go to Mr. Bob's house....

Showing our costumes off in the backyard....

The girls and Mrs. Rhonda (she's a twin too)! :)
Bob's house has super cool toys too!
All the kids before we went out trick or treating!
 Daddy and his girls....

"I have a blue tongue Daddy!"...so of course everyone had to show off their tongues...gotta love lollipops...the girls' most favorite candy thanks to all our traveling this summer and their ability to help ears adjust to airplanes! :)
 Olivia and her Daddy...
 Mommy and Olivia...

 Sydney and Mommy...

 Olivia playing around....

 Sydney playing around.....

Our front porch....the girls have been obsessed with lighting their pumpkins....oh well, next year will be here soon enough!

Hope all is well,
