All Good Things Come to an End.....:(

...this of course refers to my Spring Break. Sad to say it's over (especially since I am writing this WAY after Spring Break is over). For the last Saturday of my Spring Break, we ran errands (a trip to Costco and Target) and then ordered some pizza and came home to eat it. Sunday, my last official day, I am planning on doing NOTHING (well, some laundry and fun stuff like that), so that I can chill and be ready to face the rat race.  Spring Break was great, especially the last couple days off with Matt. It's so fun to be off with the girls together and do whatever we want to do!

Here are some pictures of the girls in their new Ballerina dresses from Old Navy that I bought off the clearance rack to day....they sure do enjoy dancing, especially when we whip out the Glee music! :)

Hope All is Well,

St. Patrick's Day 2011

Ever since Matt and I have been married, he has typically taken off of work during my Spring Break, which lately has included St. Patrick's Day. We used to go on vacation, but since the girls have been in our lives, we've had pretty low key Spring Break's. For St. Patrick's Day 2009, we went to the Botanical Gardens, and last year we went back and had a blast. THIS year, we decided to spend our St. Patrick's Day at the Zoo. The girls' had so so much fun. All week long we talked about all the animals and asked the girls which ones they were most excited to see. Hands Down, Olivia wanted to see the Hippo's....sadly, when we got there, the Hippo exhibit was closed. Boo. Guess we'll have to go back....but she was pretty happy that she got to see the giraffe's or Raf's as she calls them. Sydney wanted to see the Lions and Bears, which we definately saw. We went to the Zoo with some of our favorite people, which of course includes Caroline. I did her a couple of requests for Stephanie, who is my BFF Nancy's daughter (and we talk about her a lot), but it's still tax season, so getting together with them and baby Rachel is pretty hard. We had a great day at the zoo, and were exhausted on the ride back we crashed and burned fast...slept the whole way home, but only too a tiny nap when we got home because we do that when we sleep in the car. Boo.

Daddy and Sydney...
Mommy and Olivia...
 Mommy and her girls....

Sydney riding her Polar Bear on the carousel...Daddy had the camera, so we didn't get a picture of Olivia on her Giraffe. Boo. Guess we need a second camera.....right??
 Olivia Checking out the goats...
Cool, we can go where ever we want? This place is awesome..
Sydney checking out a goat....she ended up getting knocked down by a goat later on in the afternoon and that pretty much ruined the Goats for her....takes after her Mommy who isn't a big fan of goats either.
There were random birds in a cage in the goat area....we of course found them fascinating...
I swear Caroline wants to say, "WHY are you looking at these birds, there are GOATS here people!!!"
Hanging with the goat on the benches.....
Um...scoot over Sydney, I want to see the goat too!
Sydney's outta here....Caroline's moving in, she saw how it worked for Olivia to get to sit by the goat.....

Um...not so sure what I think of the goat now that I'm sitting next to it......

"It has horns, It not eat me Momma"....so cute.
Daddy attempting to convince Sydney that it's cool to sit by the goat...
 Caroline smiling for the camera!
Another attempt at a cute picture of BOTH of the girls.....

 Caroline and Sydney....

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you....Hope you didn't get pinched!

"It's NOT Cold Anymore!"

Um..sure Olivia, I am can take a hint...you want to go outside and play! And you know what? You're right, it's not cold outside anymore, well, somedays it is, but not today!  So, after naptime, on this gloriously beautiful Saturday in March, Matt took the girls outside and took some super cute pictures while I cleaned up around the house, folded some laundry, and got ready for date night. I must admit, I too am looking forward to the fact that it's not as cold and that spring is coming. It's so wonderful to get the girls outside and to BE outside, I love it. Now, we just need to get some more fun outside stuff for the girls to play with all spring/summer/fall. As for the girls, Grandma reported that whatever we did with the girls today, really wore them out and that they went to bed very well for her! :) Always a goal!

Little Miss Sydney..she sure does love this tricycle....we really need a second!

What you are NOT supposed to do with the frog wheel barrel......
and here is why...pretty sure I heard an "I TOLD you so" out of Daddy when she was upset about falling!
Little Miss Giggle-Butt as her Grandpa calls her....
 "I see you Daddy"...
Welcome to the Miss O-Olivia section...

She sure is beautiful...sometimes it shocks me that she's mine....

Playing with a stick and some mud...Daddy's turning them in to messes! I told him to stop because I was NOT going to check out bugs with them like he does!

 I see you Daddy!
Playing Together...remember my post about why I want to be a twin? Well, here are some more examples...Thankfully we have WAY more days and times of getting along and loving eachother than we do of disliking each other. I always tell them, that they have to love their sister because Mommy wanted a sister, but all she got were all these brothers (to which they have to list off all their Uncles and tell me how much they love them...it's super cute).

CLEARLY they are going to be partners in crime.....well, they kind of already are...
 Checking out bugs...ick.
Because it's okay to let your daughters play with sticks and write in mud on the fence so you can take cute pictures...sure honey. You'll be the one pressure washing the fences this spring. stinker!

Pretty sure there were more bugs over here under the tree they were looking at...
 Flirting with Daddy....
Hope you had a great spring-like weekend!
